It is clear God is at work at SRCS through families like yours! Will you prayerfully consider supporting this initiative. Your contribution will be deeply appreciated and will go directly towards funding the security fence.
While your tuition covers most of our operating costs, it does not cover all of the school expenses. This is why we need you to step up and partner with us to help better control school access and limit potential threats.

1. What are the current security methods used at SRCS?
SRCS has a very specific plan in place to help prevent or mitigate any threat to our campus. We have a professionally prepared policy and procedure Crisis Manual specifically for our campus.
Additionally:
- All exterior and interior doors to all buildings are locked once school is in session.
- Security film is installed on all external doors.
- At all times, two armed security guards patrol the north and south side of campus with the ability to monitor every entrance point of the school.
- External and internal cameras cover the entire school campus, leaving no blind spots. All officers have iPads to access those live feeds at any time. The Administration team also has access to the camera feeds, and the front desk staff monitors all main entry points.
- Professionals train the entire staff in school security.
- We utilize the Parent Alert System for quick relay of information.
- All security staff are former law enforcement with the ability to access information from BRPD.
2. Why is a security fence necessary for SRCS?
A security fence provides a physical barrier that helps restrict unauthorized access to the school premises, thus enhancing the safety of students and staff in multiple scenarios. Furthermore, it acts as a deterrent, making it more difficult for trespassers or intruders of any kind to enter the school grounds, thereby reducing potential security threats, large or small.
3. Are security fences effective in preventing security breaches?
While not foolproof, security fences are a valuable part of a comprehensive security strategy and can significantly reduce the likelihood of unauthorized entry. A security fence will only continue to help mitigate any circumstance that could cause students any harm.
4. What are the benefits of having a security fence at a school?
- Enhanced Safety: It provides an additional layer of security, especially during non-school hours.
- Boundary Clarity: Clearly defines school property boundaries, reducing confusion about where the school's jurisdiction begins.
- Controlled Access: Ensures that only authorized individuals enter the school premises.
- Visual Deterrence: Serves as a visual reminder of the school's commitment to safety.
- Emergency Response: Facilitates quicker response times for emergency personnel during incidents.
